Most of the year there are plenty of places to park within 100 meters of the apartment but over july and especially august it is a very hard task to find out a free parking to leave the car. Torre del Mar is undergoing major works to solve its parking problems. The most critical moment is the evening because the neighborhood is the place to get out in the region with many restaurants, night clubs, gaming and other attractions or simply very nice places for a cool walk and a drink in the evening after a warm day.

Torre del Mar has opened its first modern pay car park available 24 hours a day early in 2007. You have above its tariffs for summer (left side: "from 1 jun 2007 and on") and winter (right side: "since 11 sep 2007 and on"). Other car parks will open soon and bring prices down. We recommend that solution when you are coming back at the apartment in the evening in july and august. Most local folks are prefering to circle round and round until they will find a place eventually so that the (still unique) underground car park is mostly empty even during the hottest events of the seaside city. 

To reach the car park from the apartment by foot, you have simply to follow the paseo Larios (see pictures on the left) which is a nice walk even very late at night with animations here and there. It takes an handful of minutes. At the end of the paseo towards the car park, you will see the main church of Torre del Mar. The car park is on the right of it under the square. Ending on that square, there is also the tramway line (el tranvía) towards Velez-Malaga and the El Ingenio mall featuring the biggest supermarket in the region (Eroski), movie theatres (CineSur), restaurants, shops of all kinds.

Note that the car park takes only cash to pay your ticket before retrieving your car but you can get away at any time day and night. The car park has cameras to watch over vehicles getting in and out.

The city has plans for an underground car park in the avenue Tore Tore which is about the same distance along the paseo Maritimo towards the lighthouse.
